Outdoor Workers: No ties and typewriters

OK here it goes! this is post number one!

It was a scorcher day in Bangkok so these pics have a lot of highlight issues, but ignoring the technicalities, I love the way these people get on with their work in the incredible heat.

I intentionally didn’t shoot the street vendors even though they are ‘working outside’ – I’ll save their character and patience for a theme of their own.

Cost effective cleanliness - ther are aprox 17,000 street sweepers in BKK, so that must cost the authority around $8,000 in brooms.

  1. Fabulous! I love the idea of this blog, such a great way to develop and showcase your photography. And I love the pictures here. Thailand seems like a fascinating place, I look forward to seeing more of it.

  2. This is going to be great! Love the street cleaner one in particular as I remember mentioning how clean the streets were for all the apparent chaos and great crowds of people.
